During the long summer nights in July and August, stretching into early September, your stay here offers the unique experience of a night walk through the vineyard. Amidst the rows of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Alessandro and Irene will share insights into grape cultivation. Walking beneath the Tuscan Maremma sky, they'll guide you in observing the stars and the moon. In the quiet of the countryside, you'll hear the calls of nocturnal birds of prey and the sounds of wild boars and foxes. While we can't guarantee a sighting, you might even catch a glimpse of them, as we deeply respect our wild inhabitants. Indeed, all our agriturismo activities are ethical initiatives that honor other living creatures. This activity is included in your stay at no additional cost and takes place entirely within our property. All you need are comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking. If you're interested in an unusual and memorable experience, you can arrange the time and date with the owners when booking or at check-in.
Additionally, if you'd like a nighttime adventure in the Etruscan Vie Cave or the lost city of Vitozza, simply ask Irene, our Environmental Hiking Guide. She can lead you on a discovery of the territory at a discounted rate for our guests. For this experience, please bring your trekking shoes.
